Next “NERVO Nation” DJ Mix Show Airs On SiriusXM On Friday, June 15th
(June 4th, 2012 – New York, NY) – Multi-Talented DJ/Producer/Artist duo NERVO start the summer off with the release of their much anticipated new single “You’re Gonna Love Again.” The soon-to-be summer anthem, which they co-wrote with Tim Bergling, premiered on Pete Tong’s BBC1 radio show last Friday and on SiriusXM in the US over the weekend. Today the single mix is available exclusively on iTunes while the extended mix is available exclusively on Beatport. A multi-track EP with remixes by Marco V, Pleasurekraft and more, a digital video and ringtunes will be available commercially on June 19t, followed by a special 12" vinyl release with an exclusive MYNC remix on July 3rd. NERVO recently shot the video for “You’re Gonna Love Again” in Los Angeles with director Isaac Ravishankara and it will premiere the week of June 18th.
“You’re Gonna Love Again” is the follow up to NERVO’s debut Astralwerks single “We’re All No One” featuring Steve Aoki and Afrojack which was released last September and reached the Top 10 on the Billboard club charts as well as getting playlisted on BBC Radio 1 in the UK. The new single also brings the girls back to the mic as they not only wrote and produced the track but perform the vocals as well.
It’s been a busy year for sisters Mim and Liv since last summer's Femme Fatale tour with Britney Spears and Nicki Minaj. The intrepid duo have become global road warriors and the duo is one of the most sought after DJ acts in the world. They are back in the U.S. all of June which includes a set at EDC Vegas, gigs at Mansion in Miami, Pacha in NYC, a residency gig at the Wynn Hotel Group’s Encore Beach Club on June 21st and more (full U.S. Schedule below). The girls will spend the rest of the summer touring Europe which includes their first ever weekly residency in Ibiza at Ushauaia, club shows and multiple festival gigs including a return to the mainstage at Belgium’s Tomorrowland Music Festival.
NERVO will also continue to host their monthly radio show “NERVO Nation” on SiriusXM’s BPM Channel 51. As presenters, curators and DJ’s, Mim and Liv host the DJ mix show in which they preview new NERVO music, spin current dancefloor favorites, highlight a mash-up of the month and conduct one on one guest interviews with some of dance music’s biggest names. The next show will air on June 15th.
Known as sought-after DJs (appearing at Lollapalooza, Ultra, IMS in Ibiza, Tomorrowland, and Summerdayze and hosting their own event at the Delano during Winter Music Conference); songwriters (penning pop hits for Ke$ha, David Guetta, Jennifer Hudson, Nicole Scherzinger, Kylie Minogue, Kelly Rowland and Pussycat Dolls); and as producers (they celebrated their first Beatport No. 1 song with last year’s official Tomorrowland Festival anthem “The Way We See The World,” which they co-wrote and co-produced with Afrojack, Dimitri Vegas, and Like Mike), NERVO have worked with a growing list of collaborators that includes such artists as Avicii, Armin van Buuren, Afrojack, David Guetta, Kaskade, Laidback Luke, Steve Aoki, LMFAO, Dadalife and John Dahlback. NERVO wrote the global #1, Grammy-winning, breakthrough song “When Love Takes Over” for David Guetta which was the start to the superstar DJ’s world-wide chart dominance.
